Mandarin Oriental’s The Verandah aptly serves a mix of cuisines on the riverbank where Siam first welcomed the west.

The Verandah at the Mandarin Oriental offers an expansive vista of the Chao Phraya River, where east met west in the capital. The restaurant’s seating area encompasses both the indoor and outdoor and gives any diner the choice to partake in their preferred climate. Guests will dine while time slows as they adjust to the speed of boats sailing by on serene waters.

The à la carte menu offers fabulous dishes for any time of the day from breakfast through to late evening snacks. A wide selection of freshly baked pastries and homemade ice cream. Menu highlights include the organic barley mango and pomelo salad, marinated beef short ribs, khao soy gai, hazelnut and milk chocolate iced magnum. Drinks from the Bamboo Bar are also available.

The Verandah adheres to a smart casual dress code for all guests, including children. During the day, semiformal shorts, shirts, polo shirts and proper footwear are permitted. After 6:30pm, ladies are kindly asked to wear elegant attire and proper footwear, and gentlemen are kindly asked to wear a smart shirt, long trousers and closed shoes.
