A total 33 exquisite works of Thai contemporary art from paintings to sculptures will go on the block, including highlights such as masterworks by Wisanupong Nunan and a debut piece by Natee Kevalakul.
After more than three decades of being Asia’s premier hub for arts and antiques, River City Bangkok continues its growth by widening its focus from classic and historic art to contemporary works. As a host of Pagoda Art Club’s first ever art auction, River City Bangkok brings together sculptures and paintings representing the Kingdom’s leading contemporary artists in a milestone event.
Acclaimed artists such as Chatchawan Amsomkid and Kittichai Teeratwitcha contribute pieces ranging from depictions of deities and religious figures to loving tributes to His Majesty the late King, making the entire auction remarkably representative of the Kingdom.
Preview the pieces at RCB Artery on the 1st Floor of River City Bangkok between 2 – 8 August from 10AM – 10PM; the auction takes place on 9 August starting at 6PM.
