This animated biographical drama film is about the life of the painter Vincent van Gogh, one of the most influential artists in art history.
Each of the film’s 65,000 frames is an oil painting on canvas, created using the same techniques as Van Gogh by a team of 125 artists drawn from around the globe. The whole production used 3,000 litres of oil paint and more than 1,000 canvases.
