In June, RCB Film Club proudly presents ‘Ballad of Dog’s Beach’ as a cultural part of the National Day celebrations of the Portuguese Embassy in Thailand. In collaboration with the embassy and the Camões-Portuguese Cultural Center in Bangkok, this screening is about a cult film of the 1980’s. The film is set in the 1960’s in Portugal, the corpse of a man appears on Dog’s Beach. The corpse is identified as the major Dantas, a man wanted by authorities after his escape from a military prison where he was awaiting trial for insurrection.
