Pollution from near and far is increasing at an alarming rate. It is slowly ravaging our planet and making us unwell. People around us can also produce pollution with direct and indirect effect on the environment. Sometimes, be it or on purpose or by accident, people around us create other types of pollution: polluting our minds, hurting our feelings.
As imperfect as we are, and with a long history of mistakes, in this exhibition artists Gongkan and Naraphat Sakarthornsapwant create a space for people to ponder the things around them. The things they did in the past, intentionally or unintentionally. Actions that have created pollution for other people and the environment. Pollution wounding us from inside out, causing traumas that never fades away.
It is impossible to turn back time to fix our mistakes of the past, but this exhibition asks us to think about the future and the pollution we might causes.
