Patrick Brown’s photo exhibition shares a look into Cox’s Bazaar, the world’s biggest refugee camp, a bamboo and plastic-sheet city of nearly a million people more densely populated than Manhattan.

Opening on World Refugees Day, this deeply meaningful exhibition shows the extreme hardships of the Rohingya refugees. Brown, an Australian photographer, has worked in Asia for 20 years and was sent on assignment to Cox’s Bazaar for UNICEF in September 2017. This work received a nomination from the World Press Photo Foundation for his touching storytelling. River City Bangkok is proud help bring more awareness to this ongoing struggle.

The exhibition will start on June 20 at 10AM in the newly launching RCB Photographers’ Gallery 2, 2nd Floor, River City Bangkok. At 4PM  on this day, there will be a break in public viewing for a special opening event. Public viewing will resume from 6PM until 8PM.  After opening day, the exhibition will run 10AM – 8PM until August 10.
