Supported by the Italian Embassy and as part of the Italian Festival and in celebration of 150 years of diplomatic relationship between Italy and Thailand, River City Bangkok is proud to present ‘Italian Visuals’ in RCB Photographers’ Galleries. Massimo Catalani and Antonio Saba are showcasing large-scale paintings and photographs to reflect their impressions and interpretations of both countries and cultures. Before visiting Thailand, Catalani believed that the two places had been similar in many ways.
The exhibition consequently unveils their similarities and how this artist expresses them in RCB Photographers’ Galleries 1, in which two parts will be in darkrooms, whereas others will be in light, to allow the feeling of two opposite atmospheres and feelings. Regarding Saba’s exhibition, ‘Oneirism, Dreamscapes’, it represents unforgettable visions that remain within. They absorb your attention as you gaze into them. Visit to experience the unnatural and mysterious features Saba introduces, which create remarkable fragments of reality. He will not only present works shots in Italy and around the world, but also present works especially shot in Thailand for this exhibition. They are now shown for the first time at RCB Photographers’ Galleries 2. The exhibitions will run until 15th January 2019 in RCB Photographers’ Galleries.
