In conjunction with Bangkok Design Week, DESISLAB ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design & Engineering is coming to Bangkok to share insights about the Barcelona city model, designing for the city, and social digital innovation.

You are cordially invited to a public talk around the role of design and design for city as crucial drivers for the livability and success of cities in a time of great environmental and technological change.

International keynote speakers Arianna Mazzeo and Viviana Narotzky will kick-start the conversation by demystifying the highly discussed “Barcelona Model” and the innovative yet contested idea of the Superblocks, which aims to re-think the use of public spaces in Barcelona as places of social interactions.  The conversation will also explore community and place through design research and reflect on how cities can be designed from the ground-up.
