Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok and Caring Hearts for AIDS Foundation are hosting a charity afternoon tea to honour Father of the Nation, the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The event will include afternoon tea, a fashion show with a special performance by father-daughter singers: Rang Rockestra and Metal, and art auction.
Inspired by the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s hobbies and talents, Executive Pastry Chef Claus Olsen has exquisitely created a special mixture of savoury items which include a range of sandwiches, pies and other interesting choices for this special occasion. Some of the delectable dishes are the Royal Project Treasure Chest, a dessert representing the world-famous royal project in Chiang Mai Province. Dark edible soil, which is part of the dessert, refers to the richness and fertility that yield healthy crops grown in the area.
