Read moreBangkokEdge is a free weekend event on the 20th and 21st January 2018 full of knowledge and entertainment at Museum Siam, Chakrabongse Villas, and Rajini School. It’s a festival that combines intellect with fun, all with an edge that is the hallmark of a global city. BangkokEdge is set to establish Bangkok as an important international city of culture and innovation.
More than 40 activities will be offered to suit a wide range of interests over the weekend. The festival’s focal areas are literature, history, culture, lifestyle, and environment. Besides bringing new ideas to learn and share, promoting a more sustainable lifestyle also is one of the key commitments of the organizers.
Activities include talks and workshops led by both Thai and International speakers such as Chris Baker, Julian Thomson, Christina Lamb, Marina Mahatir, Lawrence Osborne, Madeleine Racknagel and Veereporn Nitiprapha. There will also be demonstrations, book launch events, Food Market and Art & Crafts Market. And of course a free concert on both nights by Hugo, Chanudom, Yellow Fang, Rasmee Isan Soul, and Siplor.
Chakrabongse Villas will also offer a Chill Out Pass, a special ticket to enter Chakrabongse Villas compound exclusively. Food and drinks will be available in a relaxing atmosphere and the chance to absorb the lush environment and architectural charms, together with a pre-registered tour of the villas.
