ICONSIAM, working with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), presents their New Year's Eve celebration, Amazing Thailand Countdown 2020 under the theme of "Seven Amazing Blessings."

Held riverside at River Park at ICONSIAM, the event features spectacular lighting shows on both sides of the river and of course, fireworks. The fireworks this year are made with Thai sticky rice to make them more environmentally friendly.

You can watch the fireworks from ICONSIAM’s River Park and, new this year, from the 7th floor of ICONSIAM.

If you can’t make it to ICONSIAM, or prefer a different location, visitors will be able to view the fireworks at Chaloem Phrakiat Park, Sathorn Pier, Wat Suwan Pier, Nam 2 Police Station, CAT Tower Bang Rak, Khlong San Pier, and Holy Rosary Church. You can also view them along the Creative District, Lhong 1919, Asiatique The Riverfront, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Peninsula Bangkok Hotel, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, Millennium Hilton Bangkok, Shangri-La Hotel, and other riverfront properties

Following the theme of “Seven Amazing Blessings”, the fireworks tell the story of historical Thailand, thriving under a monarchy, with plentiful crops and peace. The seven acts of the fireworks display each tell a part of the story.
