Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok’s Chocolate Boutique whets the sweet appetite of chocolate lovers with a new selection of luxurious handcrafted pralines this October.
The unique collection offers the latest twist in praline recipes with perfect flavour combinations incorporating high quality chocolate from France and other original quality ingredients coupled with the hotel’s Pâtisserie team’s excellent skills in sugar work and pastry.
The new aromatic richness of 15 different praline flavours includes Mint Chocolate Chip, Fleur de Sel Caramel Praline, Elvis Presley, Pistachio and Cherry, Passion Panna-Cotta, Lemon Hazelnut, Coffee Bean, Pink, Rum Raisin, Bounty, Key Lime, Jack Daniels Whiskey, B52, D’Or and Feuilletine Crunch.
Chocolate lovers can start their journey with Passion Panna-Cotta, a white chocolate praline with a hint of white ganache, passion fruit and Madagascar vanilla beans; Pistachio and Cherry, dark chocolate with pistachio, morello cherry and cocoa butter; Lemon Hazelnut, a combination of white and dark chocolate with praline ganache, pectin and lemon jam; or Fleur del Sel Caramel, which reveals the smooth flavour of milk chocolate and salted caramel accompanied by sugar and cream.
Guests who have crave liqueur chocolates can trigger their taste buds with Jack Daniels Whisky, which features a perfect match of the bitter taste of dark chocolate and the smoothness of dry butter and cream; and B52, milk chocolate with the savoury flavour of Kahlua and cream.
Chocolate Boutique’s new premium pralines are priced at Bt35 per piece or at Bt350, Bt500 and Bt900 for an exquisite gift box of 6, 12 and 30 pieces, respectively.
